Clock Tower (Budhana Gate)

Budhana Gate Clock Tower - The tower stands tall on a famous building near Budhana Gate (one of the nine Gates of old Meerut) constructed in 1922 by Sanatan Dharm Rakshini Sabha Trust. The clock tower was erected over this building in 1970. This clock which still gives accurate time is a manually operated machine. This clock requires the workers to wind it up once in eight days. The huge building houses a charitable Ayurvedic clinic, a Ramlila Committee Office an inter-college, a library and a house of worship by the name of Dharmeshwar Mahadev Temple.
