Church City Junior High School

This is a beautiful structure located in Thatherwada locality of Meerut City. In this building, the court of Pandit Nanakchand, a prosperous landowner and renowned philanthropist, used to be held. Born in 1862, Pandit Nanakchand had willed his massive land holdings and the income from 103 buildings spread across the city, to social cause. He was just 22 at that time. In the prevailing times, many institutions and temples are managed by the Nanakchand Trust. Church City Junior High School has been running in this building since 1877, The building came into existence in the early 1860s.
